1. Frozen bread dough, thawed - 1 (1 pound) loaf
2. Bulk Italian sausage - 1 pound
3. Shredded mozzarella cheese - 2 cups
4. Sliced fresh mushrooms - 8 ounces
5. Onion, chopped - 1 small
6. Olive oil - 2 teaspoons
7. Diced tomatoes, drained - 1 (28 ounce) can
8. Dried oregano - ¾ teaspoon
9. Salt - ½ teaspoon
10. Fennel seed - ¼ teaspoon
11. Garlic powder - ¼ teaspoon
12. Freshly grated Parmesan cheese - ½ cup

How to cook deliciously - Chicago-Style Pan Pizza

1. Stage

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Press dough into the bottom and up the sides of a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.

Crumble sausage into a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir until evenly browned. Remove sausage with a slotted spoon and sprinkle over the dough crust. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over sausage.

Add mushrooms and onion to the skillet; cook and stir until onion is tender. Stir in tomatoes, oregano, salt, fennel seed, and garlic powder. Spoon over mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the top.
