4. Dried thyme - ¼ teaspoon
5. Cayenne pepper - ¼ teaspoon
6. White pepper - ⅛ teaspoon
7. Milk - 3 cups
8. Salt - 1 teaspoon
9. Worcestershire sauce - ¼ teaspoon
10. Ground nutmeg - 1 pinch
11. Shredded sharp Cheddar cheese, divided - 3 cups
12. Dijon mustard - 1 teaspoon
13. Panko bread crumbs - ½ cup
14. Butter, melted - 1 tablespoon

1. Stage

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook elbow macaroni in the boiling water, stirring occasionally, until tender yet firm to the bite, about 8 minutes. Drain and set aside.
