Ingredients for - Chicken David

1. Butter - 3 tablespoons
2. Onion, chopped - 1
3. Fresh mushrooms, thinly sliced - 8
4. Garlic, chopped - 1 clove
5. Thinly sliced prosciutto, cut into strips - ¼ pound
6. Thinly sliced hard salami, cut into strips - ¼ pound
7. Boneless, skinless chicken breast halves - 4
8. All-purpose flour - 1 cup
9. Salt and pepper to taste - 1 cup
10. Dry sherry - ½ cup
11. Chicken broth - 1 cup
12. Heavy cream - ½ cup
13. Marinara sauce - ½ cup
14. Butter - 1 tablespoon
15. Chopped fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons

How to cook deliciously - Chicken David

1. Stage

Melt 3 tablespoons butter in a large heavy skillet over medium heat. Saute onion until soft and translucent. Stir in mushrooms, garlic, prosciutto and salami. dredge chicken in flour, and place in pan. Season with salt and pepper. Cook chicken 5 minutes on each side. Pour in sherry, and cook until liquid is reduced by half. Stir in chicken broth, cream and marinara. Simmer until sauce is reduced to your preferred consistency. Stir in 1 tablespoon butter, and sprinkle with parsley.
