Ingredients for - Chinese Sizzling Rice Soup

1. Baby shrimp 3 ounces
2. Skinless, boneless chicken pieces cut into chunks 3 ounces
3. Egg 1
4. Cornstarch 4 tablespoons
5. Vegetable oil for frying 4 cups
6. Chicken broth 3 cups
7. Mushrooms, chopped 1 ounce
8. Chopped water chestnuts 2 tablespoons
9. Diced bamboo shoots ⅛ cup
10. Fresh green beans, cut into 1 inch pieces ⅓ cup
11. Salt ½ teaspoon
12. Sherry 1 tablespoon
13. Uncooked white rice ⅔ cup

How to cook deliciously - Chinese Sizzling Rice Soup

1 . Stage

Mix together the shrimp, chicken, egg, and cornstarch.

2 . Stage

Heat 3 cups of the oil in wok. When it is hot, add shrimp and chicken mixture. Cook for 1/2 minute and drain.

3 . Stage

Place above mixture in pot with the broth, mushroom, water chestnuts, bamboo shoots, and green beans. Bring to a boil. Add salt and sherry. Return to a boil. Reduce heat and allow to simmer.

4 . Stage

Meanwhile, heat the remaining 1 cup of oil until it is hot. Add rice and brown quickly. Drain and add to soup. Serve and enjoy!
