Ingredients for - Chinese Sizzling Rice Soup

1. Baby shrimp - 3 ounces
2. Skinless, boneless chicken pieces cut into chunks - 3 ounces
3. Egg - 1
4. Cornstarch - 4 tablespoons
5. Vegetable oil for frying - 4 cups
6. Chicken broth - 3 cups
7. Mushrooms, chopped - 1 ounce
8. Chopped water chestnuts - 2 tablespoons
9. Diced bamboo shoots - ⅛ cup
10. Fresh green beans, cut into 1 inch pieces - ⅓ cup
11. Salt - ½ teaspoon
12. Sherry - 1 tablespoon
13. Uncooked white rice - ⅔ cup

How to cook deliciously - Chinese Sizzling Rice Soup

1. Stage

Mix together the shrimp, chicken, egg, and cornstarch.

2. Stage

Heat 3 cups of the oil in wok. When it is hot, add shrimp and chicken mixture. Cook for 1/2 minute and drain.

3. Stage

Place above mixture in pot with the broth, mushroom, water chestnuts, bamboo shoots, and green beans. Bring to a boil. Add salt and sherry. Return to a boil. Reduce heat and allow to simmer.

4. Stage

Meanwhile, heat the remaining 1 cup of oil until it is hot. Add rice and brown quickly. Drain and add to soup. Serve and enjoy!
