Cherries or cherries should be washed, dried and pips removed.

In the frozen cherries you can not add water, it already lets a lot of juice. Boil for about 5 minutes until soft. If you want the filling to be more uniform, you can puree the cooked cherries in a blender. I like it better in chunks.
