1. 18 uncooked jumbo pasta shells -
2. 1-1/2 pounds lean ground beef (90% lean) -
3. 1 medium onion, chopped -
4. 1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce -
5. 1/2 cup ketchup -
6. 1/4 cup prepared mustard -
7. 1/4 teaspoon pepper -
8. 1-1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided -
9. Optional toppings: Shredded lettuce, and chopped pickles and tomatoes -

How to cook deliciously - Cheeseburger Stuffed Pasta Shells

1. Stage

Preheat oven to 350°. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and rinse in cold water; drain again.

2. Stage

Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium-high heat until beef is no longer pink, 6-8 minutes, breaking beef into crumbles; drain. Stir in tomato sauce, ketchup, mustard and pepper until blended. Stir in 3/4 cup shredded cheese.

3. Stage

Spoon about 2 tablespoons filling into each shell. Place in a greased 11x7-in. baking dish.

4. Stage

Bake, covered, until heated through, 12-15 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining cheese; bake, uncovered, until cheese is melted, about 5 minutes. Serve with optional toppings as desired.
