Ingredients for - Congeal Salad

1. Fruit flavored Jell-O® mix - 1 (6 ounce) package
2. Cream cheese, softened - 1 (8 ounce) package
3. Large curd cottage cheese - 32 ounces
4. Fruit cocktail, drained - 1 (15.25 ounce) can
5. Pineapple chunks, drained - 1 (20 ounce) can
6. Mandarin orange segments - 1 (11 ounce) can
7. Apple - peeled, cored and diced - 1
8. Banana, peeled and sliced - 1
9. Maraschino cherries, drained - 1 (10 ounce) jar
10. Chopped walnuts - 1 cup

How to cook deliciously - Congeal Salad

1. Stage

Prepare gelatin according to package directions, substituting 1 cup cold water with 1 cup crushed ice. Place gelatin into freezer until almost congealed.

2. Stage

Place cream cheese in a bowl and beat until smooth. Fold cream cheese into gelatin. Add cottage cheese, fruit cocktail, pineapple, oranges, apples, banana, cherries and walnuts. Mix well.

3. Stage

Pour into mold or dish and refrigerate until completely set.
