1. Cream cheese, softened 2 (8 ounce) packages
2. Shredded Monterey Jack cheese 2 cups
3. Bacon strips, cooked and crumbled 1 pound
4. Salsa verde (green salsa) ¾ cup
5. Chopped green onion 2 tablespoons
6. Chopped canned jalapeno peppers 2 tablespoons

1 . Stage

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

2 . Stage

Place cream cheese and Monterey Jack cheese in top of a double boiler over simmering water. Stir frequently, scraping down the sides with a rubber spatula to avoid scorching, until cheese is melted, about 5 minutes. Transfer to a baking pan.

3 . Stage

Mix bacon, green salsa, green onions, and jalapeno peppers in with the cheese.

4 . Stage

Bake dip in the preheated oven until warm and bubbly, 10 to 12 minutes.
