Ingredients for - Country Fried Squash

1. Milk ½ cup
2. Egg, beaten 1
3. All-purpose flour ½ cup
4. Cornmeal ½ cup
5. Garlic salt 1 pinch
6. Ground black pepper 1 pinch
7. Salt 1 pinch
8. Oil for frying 1 cup
9. Butternut squash - peeled, seeded and sliced 6 pounds

How to cook deliciously - Country Fried Squash

1 . Stage

Whisk milk and egg together in a small bowl. Combine flour, cornmeal, garlic salt, pepper, and salt together in a separate bowl.

2 . Stage

Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat.

3 . Stage

Dip each squash slice into egg mixture, then dredge in flour mixture to coat.

4 . Stage

Fry coated squash slices in hot oil, a few at a time, until golden brown on both sides.
