1. Cream cheese, softened - 1 (8 ounce) package
2. Bacon bits - ¼ cup
3. Chopped fresh chives - 1 tablespoon
4. Hot sauce - 1 teaspoon
5. Pork sausage - 1 pound
6. Shredded Cheddar cheese - 1 cup
7. Seasoned coating mix - 1 (5.5 ounce) package
8. Ground cumin - ⅛ teaspoon
9. Chili powder - ⅛ teaspoon
10. Fresh jalapeno peppers - 16

How to cook deliciously - Easy Armadillo Eggs

1. Stage

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Mix cream cheese, bacon bits, chives, and hot sauce together in a bowl. Mix uncooked sausage and Cheddar together in another bowl. Mix seasoned coating mix, cumin, and chili powder together on a rimmed plate.

Cut a slit lengthwise into each jalapeño pepper and remove the seeds. Stuff peppers with cream cheese mixture. Press sausage mixture around peppers, then roll in seasoning mixture to coat. Arrange on a baking sheet in a single layer.
