6. Black beans, rinsed and drained 1 (15 ounce) can
7. Tomato sauce 1 (15 ounce) can
8. Beef broth 1 (14.5 ounce) can
9. Diced green chile peppers, undrained 1 (4 ounce) can
10. Chili powder 1 tablespoon
11. Ground cumin 1 teaspoon
12. Shredded Cheddar cheese ½ cup
13. Sour cream ¼ cup
14. Coarsely crushed tortilla chips ¼ cup
15. Fresh jalapeno slices ¼ cup
16. Cracked black pepper ¼ cup

1 . Stage

Add beef, onion, and garlic to a 4- to 6-quart Dutch oven. Cook over medium heat, stirring and breaking up lumps, until meat is browned and onion is tender, 5 to 7 minutes.
