2. Butter - ½ cup
3. Grated Parmesan cheese - ½ cup
4. Shredded mozzarella cheese - ½ cup
5. Shredded provolone cheese - ½ cup
6. Grated Romano cheese - ½ cup

1. Stage

Combine cream and butter in a saucepan over medium heat; stir frequently until butter melts, and bring to a simmer. Gradually stir in Parmesan, mozzarella, provolone, and Romano. Reduce the heat to low and cook, stirring constantly, just until cheese melts. Serve immediately; sauce will thicken upon standing.
