2. Onion, chopped - 1 small
3. Dried cranberry beans - 1 pound
4. Chicken broth - 4 cups
5. Beer - 1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle
6. Picante sauce - 1 cup
7. Chopped cilantro - ½ cup
8. Pickled jalapeno peppers - ¼ cup
9. Minced garlic - 1 tablespoon
10. Mexican oregano - 2 teaspoons
11. Cumin - 1 teaspoon
12. Salt and ground black pepper to taste - 1 teaspoon

How to cook deliciously - Instant Pot Borracho Cranberry Beans

1. Stage

Turn on a multi-functional pressure cooker (such as Instant Pot) and select Sauté function.

2. Stage

Add oil to the pot and let heat for about 1 minute. Add onion and cook for 2 minutes. Turn Sauté function off.

Add cranberry beans, chicken broth, beer, picante sauce, cilantro, jalapeño peppers, garlic, oregano, and cumin; stir to combine. Close and lock the lid.

Select high pressure according to the manufacturer's instructions; set the timer for 45 minutes. Allow 10 to 15 minutes for pressure to build.

Release pressure using the natural-release method according to the manufacturer's instructions, 10 to 15 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
