3. Self-rising yellow cornmeal 1 ½ cups
4. Buttermilk ½ cup
5. Sour cream ½ cup
6. Greek yogurt ½ cup
7. Eggs, beaten 2
8. Salt ½ teaspoon
9. Ground red chile pepper, or to taste ¼ teaspoon
10. Butter, or to taste 1 tablespoon

1 . Stage

Pour vegetable oil in a cast iron skillet; place in the oven. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
