1. Nonstick cooking spray -
2. Peeled and cubed sweet potatoes - 6 cups
3. Butter, sliced - ½ cup
4. Water - ¼ cup
5. Maple syrup - 2 tablespoons
6. Brown sugar - 2 tablespoons
7. Heavy cream - 2 tablespoons
8. Maple extract - 1 teaspoon
9. Ground cinnamon - ½ teaspoon
10. Ground nutmeg - ¼ teaspoon
11. Salt - ¼ teaspoon
12. Miniature marshmallows, or more to taste (Optional) - 10

How to cook deliciously - Mashed Sweet Potatoes in the Slow Cooker

1. Stage

Spray the inside of a slow cooker with cooking spray.

2. Stage

Place cubed sweet potatoes in the slow cooker. Add butter and water.

3. Stage

Cook until sweet potatoes are soft when pricked with a fork, 4 hours on Low or 2 hours on High. Turn slow cooker off. Add maple syrup, brown sugar, heavy cream, maple extract, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt to the slow cooker and blend with an immersion blender. Garnish with mini marshmallows.
