1. Egg - 1
2. Fat free half-and-half - ¾ cup
3. Canola or olive oil - 3 tablespoons
4. Splenda or sugar - ⅓ cup
5. Apple, peeled and chopped - 1 medium
6. Dried cranberries or raisins - ¾ cup
7. Walnut pieces - ½ cup
8. Whole wheat flour - 1 cup
9. Quick-cooking oats - 1 cup
10. Salt - ¼ teaspoon
11. Baking powder - 1 tablespoon
12. Ground nutmeg - ½ teaspoon
13. Ground cinnamon - 2 teaspoons

How to cook deliciously - Oatmeal Apple Muffins

1. Stage

Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

2. Stage

In a bowl, beat together egg, half-and-half, oil, and Splenda (or sugar). In a large bowl, combine remaining ingredients. Fold egg mixture into dry mixture, just to moisten.

Fill non-stick muffin tins 3/4 full. Bake 15 to 20 minutes.
