1. Olive oil 1 tablespoon
2. Onion, chopped 1 medium
3. Garlic 2 cloves
4. Skinless, boneless chicken breast, cut into 1-inch cubes 1 pound
5. Crushed tomatoes, with liquid 1 cup
6. Carrots, chopped 2 medium
7. Celery, sliced 2 stalks
8. Water ½ cup
9. Olives, or to taste ¼ cup
10. Raisins, or to taste 2 tablespoons
11. Minced fresh ginger root 1 tablespoon
12. Salt 2 teaspoons
13. Paprika 1 teaspoon
14. Ground cumin 1 teaspoon
15. Ground turmeric 1 teaspoon
16. Dried oregano ½ teaspoon
17. Ground cinnamon ½ teaspoon
18. Cayenne pepper ¼ teaspoon
19. Lemon juice 1 tablespoon
20. Finely chopped cilantro, or to taste 1 tablespoon

How to cook deliciously - One-Pot Moroccan Chicken

1 . Stage

Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat and cook onion until soft and translucent, about 5 minutes. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.

Add chicken, tomatoes, carrots, celery, water, olives, raisins, ginger, salt, paprika, cumin, turmeric, oregano, cinnamon, and cayenne pepper; mix to combine. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer until chicken has cooked through and flavors have mingled, 25 to 35 minutes.

Stir in lemon juice and garnish with cilantro.
