3. Celery, chopped - 2 stalks
4. Garlic, minced - 3 cloves
5. Dried parsley - 2 teaspoons
6. Italian seasoning - 1 teaspoon
7. Crushed red pepper flakes - ¼ teaspoon
8. Salt to taste - ¼ teaspoon
9. Chicken broth - 1 (14.5 ounce) can
10. Tomatoes, peeled and chopped - 2 medium
11. Tomato sauce - 1 (8 ounce) can
12. Ditalini or other small pasta - ½ cup
13. Cannellini beans, with liquid - 1 (15 ounce) can

1. Stage

Heat olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add onion, celery, garlic, parsley, Italian seasoning, pepper flakes, and salt; cook and stir until onion is translucent, about 5 minutes. Stir in chicken broth, tomato sauce, and tomatoes. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.
