2. 1/4 cup dill pickle juice -
3. 1 tablespoon sugar -
4. 1/2 green cabbage, thin shredded (about 4 cups) -
5. 2 medium carrots, grated (about 1 cup) -
6. 1/4 cup chopped dill pickles -
7. Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste -

Make the dressing: In a mixing bowl, whisk the mayo, pickle juice, and sugar until combined.
