1. 1 boneless pork loin roast (2 pounds) -

5. 3 large Golden Delicious apples, cut into 1-inch wedges -
6. 2 large onions, cut into 3/4-inch wedges -
7. 5 garlic cloves, peeled -
8. 1 tablespoon minced fresh rosemary or 1 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed -

How to cook deliciously - Pork Roast with Apples and Onions

1. Stage

Preheat the oven to 350°. Sprinkle the roast with salt and pepper. In a large nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium heat; brown roast on all sides.

2. Stage

Transfer the pork to a roasting pan coated with cooking spray. Place apples, onions and garlic around roast; and sprinkle with rosemary. Roast the pork until a thermometer inserted in the pork reads 145°, 45-55 minutes, turning apples, onion and garlic once. Remove the pork from the oven; tent with foil. Let the pork stand for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve the pork with the apple mixture. Editor’s Tip: In lieu of a roasting pan, you can also roast the pork in a Dutch oven.
