Ingredients for - Rice Patties

1. Cooked rice - 1 cup
2. Onion, chopped - ½ small
3. Shredded Cheddar cheese - ¼ cup
4. Egg, beaten - 1 large
5. Minced garlic - 1 teaspoon
6. Salt - ¼ teaspoon
7. Red pepper flakes (Optional) - ¼ teaspoon
8. Ground black pepper, or more to taste - ¼ teaspoon
9. Chopped fresh parsley, or to taste (Optional) - ¼ teaspoon
10. Onion powder, or to taste (Optional) - 1 pinch
11. Vegetable oil, or as needed - 1 tablespoon

How to cook deliciously - Rice Patties

1. Stage

Mix together cooked rice, onion, Cheddar cheese, egg, garlic, salt, red pepper flakes, black pepper, parsley, and onion powder by hand in a large bowl until well combined. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

From rice mixture into 4 small patties.

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Fry patties in hot oil until lightly browned, about 5 minutes per side.
