Ingredients for - Sarah's Chicken Lasagna

1. Lasagna noodles - 8
2. Butter - 3 tablespoons
3. Milk - ¾ cup
4. Chopped pimento peppers - ¼ cup
5. Dried basil - ½ teaspoon
6. Diced, cooked chicken meat - 3 cups
7. Grated Parmesan cheese - ½ cup
8. Chopped green bell pepper - ½ cup
9. Chopped onion - ½ cup
10. Condensed cream of chicken soup - 2 (10.75 ounce) cans
11. Sliced mushrooms, drained - 1 (6 ounce) can
12. Creamed, small curd cottage cheese - 1 (16 ounce) package
13. Shredded processed cheese - 2 cups

How to cook deliciously - Sarah's Chicken Lasagna

1. Stage

Cook noodles in a large pot of boiling water until done. Rinse, and drain. Set aside.

2. Stage

In a medium saucepan, saute green pepper and onions in butter or margarine over medium heat. Stir in undiluted soup, milk, mushrooms, pasteurized cheese, pimento, and basil.

3. Stage

Place half of the noodles in 13 x 7 x 2 inch baking dish. Layer with half of the cream sauce, 1/2 cottage cheese, 1/2 diced chicken, and 1/2 Parmesan cheese. Repeat layers.

4. Stage

Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 45 minutes.
