Ingredients for - Sarah's Chicken Lasagna

1. Lasagna noodles 8
2. Butter 3 tablespoons
3. Milk ¾ cup
4. Chopped pimento peppers ¼ cup
5. Dried basil ½ teaspoon
6. Diced, cooked chicken meat 3 cups
7. Grated Parmesan cheese ½ cup
8. Chopped green bell pepper ½ cup
9. Chopped onion ½ cup
10. Condensed cream of chicken soup 2 (10.75 ounce) cans
11. Sliced mushrooms, drained 1 (6 ounce) can
12. Creamed, small curd cottage cheese 1 (16 ounce) package
13. Shredded processed cheese 2 cups

How to cook deliciously - Sarah's Chicken Lasagna

1 . Stage

Cook noodles in a large pot of boiling water until done. Rinse, and drain. Set aside.

2 . Stage

In a medium saucepan, saute green pepper and onions in butter or margarine over medium heat. Stir in undiluted soup, milk, mushrooms, pasteurized cheese, pimento, and basil.

3 . Stage

Place half of the noodles in 13 x 7 x 2 inch baking dish. Layer with half of the cream sauce, 1/2 cottage cheese, 1/2 diced chicken, and 1/2 Parmesan cheese. Repeat layers.

4 . Stage

Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 45 minutes.
