How to cook deliciously - Spaghetti with Hot Dogs

1. Stage

Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of salted water brought to a boil, following the package instructions. Stir occasionally to keep it from sticking. Once it’s cooked to your liking, drain it and set aside. You’ll mix it with the hot dog mixture in the next step.

2. Stage

While the pasta cooks, heat the canola oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced hot dogs, chopped onion and celery. Cook and stir for five to seven minutes or until the vegetables are soft and the hot dogs start to brown. Editor’s Tip: If you want extra flavor, cook the onions a bit longer until they turn golden brown.

3. Stage

Add the tomato sauce, mustard, chili powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper to the skillet. Stir well to combine and then let it cook for about five minutes so the flavors can mix together.

4. Stage

Add in the drained spaghetti to the skillet with the hot dog mixture. Toss everything until the spaghetti is evenly coated with the sauce. Serve right away, sprinkling shredded cheddar on top.
