1. Garbanzo beans (chickpeas), drained and liquid reserved - 1 (15.5 ounce) can
2. Jarred jalapeno peppers, diced - 8 slices
3. Juice from jarred jalapeno peppers - 1 tablespoon
4. Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
5. Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
6. Tahini - 1 tablespoon
7. Minced garlic - 2 teaspoons
8. Cayenne pepper - 2 teaspoons
9. Ground cumin - ½ teaspoon
10. Dried oregano - ½ teaspoon
11. Ground black pepper to taste - ½ teaspoon
12. Paprika, or to taste (Optional) - 1 pinch

How to cook deliciously - Spicy Jalapeno Hummus

1. Stage

Blend garbanzo beans, jalapeno peppers, juice from jalapeno peppers, lemon juice, olive oil, tahini, and garlic in a blender or food processor until smooth; add reserved garbanzo bean liquid and blend to reach desired consistency. Add cayenne pepper, cumin, oregano, black pepper, and paprika; blend until smooth.

Chill hummus until flavors blend, about 4 hours.
