3. 3 tablespoons cornstarch -
4. 1 cup water -
5. 1/2 cup vinegar -
6. 1/2 cup ketchup -
7. 1 can (8 ounces) crushed pineapple, drained -

How to cook deliciously - Sweet-and-Sour Sausage

1. Stage

In a large skillet, cook the sausage until a thermometer reads 160°F, then drain any excess liquid. When it's cool enough to handle, cut the sausages into small bite-sized pieces. Set the sausage aside while you prepare the rest of the recipe.

2. Stage

In a bowl, combine the sugar, cornstarch, water, vinegar and ketchup, then add the blend to the skillet and mix to combine, stirring frequently. Bring the pan to a boil. Reduce the heat, and cook for two minutes or until thickened, stirring less frequently. Add the drained pineapple and sausage, and heat everything through. Serve the sausage and sauce over cooked rice.
