4. Quick cooking oats 1 ½ cups
5. Whole wheat flour 1 cup

7. Baking powder 1 ½ teaspoons
8. Salt 1 teaspoon
9. Baking soda 1 teaspoon
10. Ground cinnamon ½ teaspoon
11. Butter, or as needed 2 tablespoons

Whisk buttermilk, eggs, and milk together in a bowl until blended; add oats and whisk until oats are wet, about 30 seconds. Set aside until oats absorb some liquid, about 5 minutes.
