4. 1 cup ketchup -
5. 1/3 cup packed brown sugar -

7. 2 tablespoons water -
8. 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce -
9. 2 teaspoons prepared mustard -
10. 1/2 teaspoon salt -
11. 2 garlic cloves, minced -
12. Few drops hot pepper sauce, optional -
13. 1-1/2 cups uncooked long grain rice -
14. 1-1/4 cups chicken broth -
15. 1 broiler/fryer chicken (3-1/2 to 4 pounds), cut up -

How to cook deliciously - Barbecued Chicken ‘n’ Rice

1. Stage

In a saucepan, saute onion and celery in butter until tender. Add the next nine ingredients. Simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

2. Stage

Meanwhile, combine rice and broth in a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking dish. Top with chicken and barbecue sauce. Bake, uncovered, at 400° for 55-60 minutes or until the rice is tender and meat juices run clear.
