1. Lean ground beef 1 pound
2. Cabbage, chopped 1 medium head
3. Carrots, drained 1 (15 ounce) can
4. Whole kernel corn 1 (15.25 ounce) can
5. Green beans 1 (15 ounce) can
6. Peas 1 (15 ounce) can
7. Sliced potatoes 1 (15 ounce) can
8. Mixed vegetables 1 (15 ounce) can
9. Asparagus 1 (10 ounce) can
10. Tomato juice 1 (46 fluid ounce) can
11. Garlic powder ½ teaspoon
12. Onion Powder 1 teaspoon
13. Salt and pepper to taste 1 teaspoon

1 . Stage

Place ground beef in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium-high heat until evenly brown. Drain, crumble, and set aside.

2 . Stage

Put all the ingredients in a large soup pot. Do not drain the liquid from the vegetables. Cook until the cabbage is tender. Makes about 2 gallons of soup.
