1. Light brown sugar - 1 pound
2. Heavy whipping cream - 1 cup
3. Baking soda - ½ teaspoon
4. Butter - ½ cup
5. Chopped pecans - ¼ cup

How to cook deliciously - Caramel Frosting V

1. Stage

In a medium, heavy saucepan, bring the brown sugar and cream to a rolling boil; boil 1 minute. Add baking soda; boil 1 more minute. Remove from heat. Add butter, but do not stir yet. Let the mixture cool.

Beat well. Stir in pecans if desired.
