Ingredients for - Comforting Cube Steaks

1. Cooking spray -
2. Cube steaks - 4 (4 ounce)
3. Cajun seasoning, or to taste - ½ teaspoon
4. Freshly ground black pepper - ¼ teaspoon
5. Lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage - 1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle
6. Condensed cream of mushroom soup - 2 (10.5 ounce) cans
7. Dry onion soup mix - 1 (1 ounce) envelope

How to cook deliciously - Comforting Cube Steaks

1. Stage

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.

2. Stage

Season steaks on both sides with Cajun seasoning and black pepper. Place steaks into the prepared baking dish. Pour lemon-lime beverage over steaks. Combine condensed soups and onion soup mix in a medium bowl; pour over steaks.

3. Stage

Bake, uncovered, in the preheated oven until meat reaches desired doneness, about 1 hour. Do not open the oven door during the first hour of cooking. An instant-read thermometer inserted into steak should read 145 degrees F (63 degrees C) for medium doneness. Serve steaks with gravy spooned over the top.
