1. Olive oil 2 tablespoons
2. Diced shallots or onion ½ cup
3. Dried red pepper flakes ¼ teaspoon
4. CONTADINA® Tomato Sauce 1 (15 ounce) can
5. CONTADINA® Diced Tomatoes, undrained 1 (14.5 ounce) can
6. Cannellini beans, rinsed and drained 1 (15 ounce) can
7. Reduced sodium chicken broth 1 (14.5 ounce) can
8. Ground black pepper ¼ teaspoon
9. Chopped fresh basil 1 teaspoon

How to cook deliciously - Contadina® Creamy Tomato Soup

1 . Stage

Heat olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Cook shallots and red pepper flakes until softened, 2 to 3 minutes, stirring frequently.

2 . Stage

Stir in remaining ingredients, except basil. Puree in saucepan with a hand-held immersion blender or puree in batches in a blender or food processor. Return to saucepan and heat through.

3 . Stage

Top with fresh basil before serving, if desired.
