1. Beer - 1 ½ cups
2. All-purpose flour - 1 cup
3. Egg - 1 large
4. Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
5. Salt - ½ teaspoon
6. Ground black pepper - ½ teaspoon
7. Cod fillets - 1 pound
8. Crushed cornflake crumbs - 2 cups
9. Cajun seasoning - 1 teaspoon
10. Oil for frying - 1 quart

How to cook deliciously - Crispy Fried Fish

1. Stage

Beat together beer, flour, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl until smooth. Add cod fillets; stir gently until well coated.

Mix together cornflake crumbs and Cajun seasoning in a separate medium bowl until well combined. Dip cod in cornflake mixture to thoroughly coat all sides.

3. Stage

Heat oil in a large, heavy skillet or deep fryer to 365 degrees F (185 degrees C). Fry cod in hot oil until golden brown and flesh is easily flaked with a fork. Drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
