1. Butter ½ cup
2. Unsweetened chocolate 3 (1 ounce) squares
3. White sugar 2 cups
4. Eggs 2
5. Water 1 cup
6. All-purpose flour 2 ¼ cups
7. Baking soda 1 ½ teaspoons
8. Salt ¼ teaspoon
9. Milk ¼ cup
10. Distilled white vinegar 1 teaspoon

How to cook deliciously - Devil's Food Cake

1 . Stage

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease and flour two 9-inch round pans or one 9x13-inch pan.

2 . Stage

In a small pan, melt butter or margarine with unsweetened chocolate. Set aside to cool slightly.

3 . Stage

Cream together sugar and eggs until light in color. Add chocolate mixture to eggs and temper mixture by beating well. Add 1 cup boiled water (still warm) and blend well. Mixture will be very liquid.

4 . Stage

Mix together flour, baking soda, and salt. Add this mixture to chocolate mixture and blend well.

5 . Stage

Mix together vinegar and the milk and stir into chocolate batter. Pour into the prepared pans.

6 . Stage

Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, about 30 minutes.
