1. Bulk mild Italian sausage - 1 pound
2. Kielbasa smoked sausage, cut lengthwise and sliced into 1/2-inch pieces - 1 pound
3. Diced potatoes, or more to taste - 4 cups
4. Water - 4 cups
5. Chicken broth - 2 cups
6. Heavy whipping cream - 1 cup
7. Celery, diced, or more to taste - 1 stalk
8. Chicken bouillon - 2 cubes
9. Minced garlic - 1 tablespoon
10. Salt - 1 teaspoon
11. Ground black pepper - ½ teaspoon
12. Garlic powder - ½ teaspoon
13. Crushed red pepper, or more to taste - ⅓ teaspoon

How to cook deliciously - Potato and Sausage Soup

1. Stage

Heat a large pot over medium-high heat. Cook and stir Italian and kielbasa sausages in the hot skillet until browned, 5 to 7 minutes. Drain grease.

2. Stage

Stir potatoes, water, chicken broth, heavy cream, celery, bouillon, garlic, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and red pepper into the pot. Reduce heat and let simmer until potatoes are tender, about 1 1/2 hours.
