1. 1 box pound cake mix -
2. Cooking spray -
3. Variety of Easter candies -
4. 1 container vanilla frosting -
5. Sugar pearls (for decoration) -

How to cook deliciously - Easter Surprise Cake

1. Stage

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Prepare pound cake batter according to package instructions.

2. Stage

Coat a 2-cup oven-safe measuring cup with cooking spray and pour in cake batter. Bake until golden and a toothpick comes out clean, 25 to 30 minutes. Let cool slightly.

3. Stage

Repeat step 2 for second cake.

4. Stage

Cut tops of each cake, then carve out the middle, leaving a 1/2-inch border so the cake still stands when hollowed out. (Be careful not to carve too deep.)

5. Stage

Fill bottom cake with Easter candies (such as foil-wrapped chocolates). Frost ring around the top of the bottom cake.

6. Stage

Place top cake on top of bottom cake and frost completely. Decorate egg with sugar pearls.
