1. 2 cups sour cream -
2. 1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted -
3. 1/2 teaspoon salt -
4. 1/4 teaspoon pepper -
5. 1 package (30 ounces) frozen shredded hash brown potatoes, thawed -
6. 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese -
7. 1 small onion, chopped -
8. 2 cups crushed cornflakes -
9. 1/4 cup butter, melted -

How to cook deliciously - Funeral Potatoes

1. Stage

Preheat the oven to 350°F. In a large bowl, mix the sour cream, undiluted condensed soup, salt and pepper. Stir in the potatoes, cheese and onion. Transfer the mixture to a greased 13x9-inch baking dish.

2. Stage

In a small bowl, mix the crushed cornflakes and melted butter. Sprinkle it over the potato mixture.

3. Stage

Bake, uncovered, for 50 to 60 minutes or until golden brown.
