2. Salt - 1 teaspoon
3. Shortening - 1 ¼ cups
4. Egg, beaten - 1
5. Distilled white vinegar - 1 tablespoon
6. Water - 4 tablespoons

1. Stage

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).

2. Stage

In large bowl mix flour and salt. Cut in shortening with two butter knives.

3. Stage

In a separate bowl, mix together egg, vinegar, and water. Drizzle wet mixture into dry mixture, cutting it in.

4. Stage

Roll out dough, and fit into two 9-inch pie pans.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12 minutes.
