Ingredients for - Gurkensalat (German Cucumber Salad)

1. Cucumbers, sliced thin 2 large
2. Onion, sliced thin (Optional) ½ medium
3. Salt 1 teaspoon
4. Sour cream ½ cup
5. White sugar 2 tablespoons
6. White vinegar 2 tablespoons
7. Dill Dried 1 teaspoon
8. Dried parsley 1 teaspoon
9. Paprika, or to taste ¼ teaspoon

How to cook deliciously - Gurkensalat (German Cucumber Salad)

1 . Stage

Spread cucumber and onion slices onto a large platter; season with salt on both sides. Let rest for 30 minutes, then drain in a colander and squeeze to remove excess moisture. Blot dry with paper towels.

2 . Stage

Stir sour cream, sugar, vinegar, dill, and parsley together in a large bowl. Gently fold in cucumber and onion slices until coated. Cover and refrigerate, 8 hours to overnight.

3 . Stage

Garnish with paprika to serve.
