Ingredients for - Hamburger Mac and Cheese

1. 1 package (7-1/4 ounces) macaroni and cheese -
2. 1 pound ground turkey or beef -
3. 1/2 cup chopped onion -
4. 1 package (16 ounces) frozen mixed vegetables -
5. 1/3 cup ketchup -
6. 1/4 cup water -
7. 1/2 teaspoon prepared mustard -
8. 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder -
9. 3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese -
10. Salt and pepper to taste -

How to cook deliciously - Hamburger Mac and Cheese

1. Stage

Prepare the macaroni and cheese according to the package directions.

2. Stage

In a large skillet, cook the turkey or beef with the onion, stirring and breaking up the meat. Cook these ingredients until the beef has browned evenly, then carefully drain off any excess liquid.

3. Stage

Add the mixed veggies, ketchup, water, mustard and garlic powder to the skillet with the meat and onions. Stir steadily and cook until everything has warmed through and the vegetables are crisp-tender, about 10 minutes.

Once everything in the skillet is good and hot, sprinkle in the cheddar cheese and stir until it has melted. Then mix in the mac and cheese and stir to combine, seasoning the dish with salt and pepper to taste.
