1. Vegetable oil - 3 tablespoons
2. Cubed beef stew meat - 2 pounds
3. Beef bouillon, crumbled - 4 cubes
4. Water - 4 cups
5. Dried rosemary - 1 teaspoon
6. Dried parsley - 1 teaspoon
7. Ground black pepper - ½ teaspoon
8. Potatoes, peeled and cubed - 3 large
9. Carrots, cut into 1 inch pieces - 4
10. Celery, cut into 1 inch pieces - 4 stalks
11. Onion, chopped - 1 large
12. Cornstarch - 2 teaspoons
13. Cold water - 2 teaspoons

How to cook deliciously - Homemade Beef Stew

1. Stage

Heat oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium-high heat; add beef and cook until well browned.

2. Stage

Dissolve bouillon in 4 cups water and pour into the pot; stir in rosemary, parsley, and pepper. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 1 hour. Stir in potatoes, carrots, celery, and onion.

Dissolve cornstarch in 2 teaspoons of cold water; stir into stew. Cover and simmer until beef is tender, about 1 hour.
