1. Chicken drumettes - 2 ½ pounds
2. Potatoes, cut into large chunks - 2 large
3. Carrots, cut into 2 inch pieces - 2
4. Onion, cut into 8 pieces - 1 large
5. Garlic, crushed - 4 cloves
6. Water - ¼ cup
7. Soy sauce - ½ cup
8. White sugar - 2 tablespoons
9. Gochujang (Korean hot pepper paste) - 3 tablespoons

In a large pot over medium heat, mix the chicken, potatoes, carrots, onion, sugar, and garlic. Pour in water and soy sauce, and stir in sugar and hot pepper paste.
