1. Salmon, drained and bones removed 2 (14.75 ounce) cans
2. Plain bread crumbs 1 cup
3. Onion, finely chopped (Optional) 1 small
4. Eggs, beaten 4 large
5. All-purpose flour 2 tablespoons
6. Dill weed 2 teaspoons
7. Dried basil 2 teaspoons
8. Garlic salt (Optional) 1 teaspoon
9. Onion powder (Optional) 1 teaspoon
10. Shortening (such as Crisco®) 2 tablespoons

How to cook deliciously - Large Salmon Patties

1 . Stage

Mix salmon, bread crumbs, onion, eggs, flour, dill, basil, garlic salt, and onion powder together in a bowl; form into 5 large patties.

2 . Stage

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

3 . Stage

Melt shortening in a large frying pan over medium-high heat; fry patties until golden brown, 6 to 8 minutes per side. Transfer patties to a baking dish.

4 . Stage

Bake in the preheated oven until patties are cooked through, about 20 more minutes.
