1. Dry fettuccine pasta 12 ounces
2. Nonfat milk 1 cup
3. Reduced fat margarine ½ cup
4. Neufchatel cheese, cubed 8 ounces
5. Garlic powder ¼ teaspoon
6. Minced garlic ½ teaspoon
7. Onion salt ¼ teaspoon
8. Grated Parmesan cheese 1 cup

How to cook deliciously - Lighter Fettuccini Alfredo

1 . Stage

In a large pot of boiling salted water cook fettuccini until al dente. Drain.

2 . Stage

Combine milk, cubed Neufchatel cheese, butter or margarine, garlic powder, onion powder, minced garlic, and salt. Stir until smooth. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese and cook 2 to 3 minutes, or until blended.

3 . Stage

Toss pasta with Alfredo Sauce and serve warm.
