Ingredients for - Mac & Cheese Jalapeño Poppers

1. 1 (7.25-oz.) package store-bought macaroni and cheese, plus ingredients on box -
2. 3/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese -
3. 3/4 c. shredded monterey jack cheese -
4. 10 jalapeños -
5. 4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled -
6. 2 green onions, thinly sliced -

How to cook deliciously - Mac & Cheese Jalapeño Poppers

1. Stage

Preheat oven to 400°. In a medium saucepan, cook mac and cheese according to package instructions. Remove from heat and scrape into a medium heatproof bowl. Let cool 5 minutes. Stir in cheddar and monterey jack until evenly distributed, but not melted. 

2. Stage

Halve jalapeños lengthwise, then use a spoon to remove seeds and veins. Fill with mac and cheese. 

3. Stage

Place on a baking sheet and bake until peppers are tender, about 20 minutes. Sprinkle the cooked bacon over top, sprinkle with green onions, and serve warm.
