1. Garlic 1 clove
2. Italian bread 1 (1 pound) loaf
3. Chopped tomatoes 1 cup
4. Cucumber - peeled, seeded and chopped 1 cup
5. Chopped red onion 1 cup
6. Garlic, minced 1 clove
7. Chopped fresh basil 2 cups
8. Chopped fresh thyme ⅛ cup
9. Olive oil ¼ cup
10. Balsamic Vinegar 2 tablespoons

How to cook deliciously - Mid-Summer Italian Bread Salad

1 . Stage

Rub a peeled clove of garlic around a wooden salad bowl.

2 . Stage

Pull apart or chop the bread into bite-size pieces.

3 . Stage

In the prepared salad bowl, combine the bread, tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, garlic, basil and thyme. Add enough olive oil and vinegar to lightly coat, toss and serve.
