Ingredients for - Ono Butter Mochi

1. Mochiko (glutinous rice flour) - 1 pound
2. White sugar - 2 ½ cups
3. Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
4. Butter, melted - ½ cup
5. Whole milk - 3 cups
6. Eggs - 5
7. Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
8. Sweetened, flaked coconut - 1 cup

How to cook deliciously - Ono Butter Mochi

1. Stage

Gather ingredients. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.

2. Stage

In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, vanilla and milk. In a separate larger bowl, stir together the rice flour, sugar, and baking powder.

3. Stage

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, and stir to blend. Mix in melted butter and coconut. Pour into the prepared pan.

4. Stage

Bake for 1 hour in the preheated oven. Cool completely, then cut into squares to serve.
