1. Bacon, cut into small pieces ½ pound
2. Eggs, room temperature 4
3. Heavy cream at room temperature ¼ cup
4. Grated Parmesan cheese 1 cup
5. Dry fettuccine pasta 16 ounces
6. Butter, softened ¼ cup
7. Chopped parsley ¼ cup
8. Ground black pepper to taste ¼ cup

How to cook deliciously - Pasta Carbonara I

1 . Stage

Cook bacon until crisp. Drain on paper towels.

2 . Stage

In medium bowl beat together eggs and cream just until blended. Stir in cheese and set aside.

3 . Stage

Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and return to pan. Toss with butter until it is melted. Add bacon and cheese mixture and toss gently until mixed.
