1. Dry fettuccine pasta 4 ounces
2. Extra-virgin olive oil 4 tablespoons
3. Onion, finely chopped 1
4. Celery, chopped 1 rib
5. Garlic, finely chopped 3 cloves
6. Chile peppers, seeded and diced 2
7. Large uncooked shrimp ¾ pound
8. Tomatoes, chopped into small pieces 4 large
9. Fresh parsley, chopped 1 bunch
10. Lemon, juiced 1
11. White sugar ½ teaspoon
12. Sea salt and freshly ground pepper ½ teaspoon

How to cook deliciously - Spicy Shrimp Fettuccine with Garlic and Tomatoes

1 . Stage

Fill a large pot with lightly salted water and bring to a rolling boil. Cook fettuccine at a boil until tender yet firm to the bite, about 8 minutes.

2 . Stage

Meanwhile, heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion, celery, and garlic and cook until soft, 3 to 5 minutes. Stir in chile peppers and cook for 5 minutes.

3 . Stage

Add shrimp and cook until opaque, about 3 minutes. Stir in tomatoes and parsley and cook for 5 minutes. Season with lemon juice and sugar and cook for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

Drain fettucine and toss with shrimp mixture.
