1. Dry fettuccine pasta - 4 ounces
2. Extra-virgin olive oil - 4 tablespoons
3. Onion, finely chopped - 1
4. Celery, chopped - 1 rib
5. Garlic, finely chopped - 3 cloves
6. Chile peppers, seeded and diced - 2
7. Large uncooked shrimp - ¾ pound
8. Tomatoes, chopped into small pieces - 4 large
9. Fresh parsley, chopped - 1 bunch
10. Lemon, juiced - 1
11. White sugar - ½ teaspoon
12. Sea salt and freshly ground pepper - ½ teaspoon

How to cook deliciously - Spicy Shrimp Fettuccine with Garlic and Tomatoes

1. Stage

Fill a large pot with lightly salted water and bring to a rolling boil. Cook fettuccine at a boil until tender yet firm to the bite, about 8 minutes.

Meanwhile, heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion, celery, and garlic and cook until soft, 3 to 5 minutes. Stir in chile peppers and cook for 5 minutes.

Add shrimp and cook until opaque, about 3 minutes. Stir in tomatoes and parsley and cook for 5 minutes. Season with lemon juice and sugar and cook for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
