Ingredients for - Potato Bread from Idahoan

1. Warm water - 1 ½ cups
2. Active dry yeast** - 2 (.25 ounce) packages
3. Idahoan® Original Mashed Potatoes* - 1 cup
4. Sugar - 2 tablespoons
5. Melted, cooled butter or oil - 2 tablespoons
6. Salt - 1 tablespoon
7. All-purpose flour, or more as needed - 4 ½ cups

1. Stage

Combine warm water and yeast in a mixing bowl; let stand for several minutes.

Stir in mashed potatoes, sugar, butter, and salt; mix well.

Stir in flour to make a soft dough.

Turn dough out onto a floured surface and knead until dough is smooth and elastic, adding flour as needed, for 5 to 8 minutes.

Place dough in bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour. Punch dough down, divide in half, and shape each half into a loaf.

Place doughs in 4x8-inch loaf pans, cover, and let rise until doubled, 30 to 45 minutes.

Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
