1. Cream of chicken soup - 2 (10.5 ounce) cans
2. Cooked chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces - 3
3. Milk, or more as needed - ½ cup
4. Cooked rice - 4 cups
5. Chow mein noodles - 1 (5 ounce) can
6. Pineapple tidbits, drained - 1 (8 ounce) can
7. Shredded Cheddar cheese - 1 cup
8. Celery, chopped - 3 stalks
9. Green bell peppers, chopped - 2
10. Green onions, chopped - 3
11. Flaked coconut - ½ cup
12. Slivered almonds - ½ cup
13. Soy sauce, or to taste - 1 teaspoon

How to cook deliciously - Quick Hawaiian Haystacks

1. Stage

Mix chicken soup and chicken together in a saucepan; stir in enough milk to make a gravy-like consistency. Cook and stir chicken sauce over medium heat until smooth and heated through, 5 to 10 minutes.

2. Stage

Spoon 1/2 cup rice onto each of 8 plates. Layer each serving of rice with chow mein noodles, chicken mixture, pineapple, Cheddar cheese, celery, green peppers, green onions, coconut, almonds, and a drizzle of soy sauce, respectively.
